Heyyya All
I am BACK!!. Well... lets see, its Wednesdayy!! Of Thanksgiving break!! And I am already bored!! Oh well. I got to sleep in today!! Finally!! No alarm... nothing. Woke up liesurely at 2 as A friend called. I had made and eaten a LOT of Upma before sleeping. So...didnt eat any lunch. And Manasi made pulao. She called me over to have some:D:D. It was gooooood!! Oh well. Had my last exam on Monday. It was easier than I expected!! Made a BUNCH of silly mistakes... but still..Its over!!
Oh well. Have to clean up my room one of these days:D. Other than that...nothing much.

Ok
I had my 311 exam today. Not exactly in accordance with the first two exams. But it does agree with the way all my other exams have been this week. DIFFICULT!! Have one quiz tomm and another exam Monday before Thanksgiving break (Next Monday). Hopefully, I can prepare well for that. I presume that that exam also will be much tougher than usual.
Oh Well.
I was on www.idlebrain.com today and I noticed a couple of articles written by Chiranjeevi. I started reading them and was pretty impressed. They were taken from the Times Of India Website. You can find some of them at this link

They are mostly his opinions or thoughts on various matters. What impressed me most was the humility and the respect for other people that seemed to ooze in all of his writings. The man is a superstar in the state from where I come. People are willing to do almost anything for him. I think one of the things which mislead me was that he made a lot of "Mass" movies. Basically movies which involved certain amount of vulgarity and crass humor. But the person behind the mask seems to be different. His ideals seem to be that of a very helpful, responsible and wonderful person. I would like to meet this man sometime in my life:)
Well... what else. Hmm... well nothing much actually. I should get moving soon. Have fun all and ttyl:)

Heh. Great guy Richard P Feynman. You should read some of his books. And so should I. I read a few of his short stories... and MANNN were they good. The guy was a prof at Cal tech who bought a strip club which was selling out as he liked to study there!!

Today has been more positive.
Classes went off decently.... Exam prep was ok. Did some HW too. Rest doesnt look too bad either. Hmmm And tomm is actually supposed to be sunny:D
Good for me:):)
Got my Passport pic taken. Doesnt look a BIT like a passport photo. Darned thing cost me 10$!!
got a door hanger today. Tells me how to do a testicular self exam. Pretty informative. The facts scared me. Men between 15 and 35 are MOST susceptible!! Gotta do it often!!
went to radioshack too. Will try to get some work done on an infrared sensor for controlling my PC with a remote!!
Hehehe.

Hmmm
Its Monday. I slept early yesterday (By 12:30 am!!!) and was up around 8:30-9ish (Felt too lazy...so just was in bed till then) Have an exam tonight . Another two major ones this week. And a small quiz on Friday. And Of course... the regular Homeworks. Got one almost done. Have another two. Due on Thursday and Friday!. Next monday is another major exam. Whew.
Positive approach:
Dont let em get me down. I can SURVIVE!!
and by the by.. the weather's decent too!!

Hmmm...
I seem to be having a spate of BAD days. Got back the result for my Semiconductor devices class. DID BADLY!! I got just below average. If I tell my dad that I'm doing badly in a subject or two... all he says is "Why?". Thats SO frustrating. Oh well. Guess that's life. And on top of it all... the weather's gone Really COLD overnight!!. Its FREEZING out there now. NOT my kind of weather. AND I've been missing meals. Oh well... lets see how bad things can get:|. be prepared for the worst they say. But they never tell you how long the worst lasts!!
Gotta get back to Homework now. And I have 3 exams coming up for next week on top of my regular homeworks! Does life ever get beyond this?

Hmm....
I had a BAD day today... Just NOT my day.
I started off by getting only 2 hrs of sleep before my 7:30am Lab. I overslept and was late to class by 20 mins. And guess what happens when I reach there... my Lab partner... who usually brings the kit.... is ALSO late... and he forgot his kit. Fine.. we are able to borrow some parts... and get going. Halfway through the experiment.. just as things looked perfect.... the thing decides to quit working!! After messing around for an hour... we decide to meet up after class to finish the lab as nothing seemed to work. Oh well....
I get home .. chat with my dad...eat two slices of leftover pizza and well.... sleep for another 2.5 hrs.... Only to get up with a splitting headache caused by the alarm going off. I run to class 5 mins late... tired ..sleepy and cranky. After class...I head to the lab to work on finishing it up. We need some parts for our circuit. We had borrowed them from our parts room in the morning. So, we expected to be able to do the same. But this SOB (An old neighbour of mine), decided to show his supremacy... and basically..... was mean. Oh well... I was more pissed off than ever. Well... anyway.. we use alternate parts and build our circuit. The circuit doesnt work. So, I wanted to try using other equipment. I see an unused table (With books and other equipment on it) and ask if anyone using it. This mean guy rudely informs me that since it is their official lab hour... they get preference in using the table. PISSES ME OFF. But I keep quiet... and we figure out the problem. Oh well.. we finish the lab. I go to do some programming and then head home. While heading home...I call my friend, Raghu, to see if he wanted to head for dinner later. But he's had his dinner!. and the dining hall close to my place closed by the time I reached it. So..I go home ....drop off my stuff and after a short break.. again head out. I now have to walk over a mile across campus to get to the only open dining hall..... all by myself. Oh well...I start walking... and the drizzle decides....it needs to get heavier!!. Just when I decide I dont need my cap/ umbrella with me!! GREATT!!
well...I get there... have a quick bite and head back.... and ..well....the rest of the day had its moments... but none as pissing off as the earlier parts.
So...in short... a bad day!!
Hope tomm will be better:D

Ok...
Well... Its no longer 3 am....
its actually more like 7:30pm. I've just had some cheese enchilidas.... not bad..not bad at all.
Dorm food is surprisingly tasty at times:D
Ok... so where were we...
Its 7:30 pm... and I am sitting at my computer waiting to do my homework. Well...I'm not exactly waiting... just whiling time so that I dont need to do it right away. The homework isnt due till much tomorrow after all.
Getting bored despite having tons of work.... Thats what life has become.
Hmm...Positive thoughts....for positive reinforcement or whatever psychological crap it is...
Probability is ONE subject I think I dont want to go deep into. I can never figure out why some things happen with such statistically calculable accuracy. I know that the probability of something going wrong, when it can, is closer to 1 rather than the 0.5 it is theoretically. No wonder, the laws of probability never get into my BIG fat head
