Hahahaha
That was my first response... But well... visit the --> website <--.. and it almost seems real?? WHo knows...a few years down the road...kids in India will be eagerly following the story of the Indian super hero wearing a dhoti and flying from rickshaw to rickshaw. Though I wonder if anyone in India will really do that.
From personal experience (Or atleast having seen ppl wear dhotis), I know that they can get pretty flimsy. Especially ppl living in the cities / towns of India. I mean... who, in urban India, wears the dhoti now? Tamil Nadu has its Lungi... but thats not really a dhoti... and jumping around in that.... can ...only offend people's sensibilities;):D
I do know that in large parts of rural India, which does include around 70% of India's population.... people do wear dhoti's. So.. well..yeah... maybe those audiences are catered to.. but wait... Spiderman jumps from building to building... skyscraper to skyscraper... autorockshaw to rickshaw. Where in the world will you find all of those in rural India??
Oh well....
Went for Fahrenheit 9/11 yesterday night. It was an interesting movie. I think it just highlighted some facts which have been in front of the people for a long time. Just that.. few people noticed them. Oh well. I am anti-US-foreign policy. Hope that doesnt get the FBI after me;). I dont intend to harm any living being just because I dont like the US foreign policy:S After all... if all the demonstations made by US citizens cannot have any positive effect on the American Big Brother attitude.... how can a small weakling like me make any difference? I mean.... in India... if there is a public outcry against something...the government is typically shamed into changing its policy to agree with what the public wants. But in this country... the government is able to scare the people into agreeing with its foreign policy. Psychological warfare against its own people...
Maybe thats what happens when u have a nation full of psychologists and psychiatrists;););). In India.... psychiatrists are still known as Mental Doctors;)... and rarely taken very seriously;);)
I shouldnt say that. psychiatrists have helped ppl I know... and helped them immensely.... but still....
Oh well
Politics... was just discussing the situation back in my hometown / state with a cousin.... well.... its too late to write up on that now.
