Kal Ho Na Ho

Just saw this movie.....
An interesting movie, I say. For those who havent seen this movie, I shall summarize it in a few sentences.
Priety Zinta(PZ) lives with her mom, granny and siblings in NY, an unhappy family. Shah Rukh Khan (SRK) comes into her life as a neighbour and teaches her to love and enjoy life. She falls in love with him, but he tells her that he is already married (even though he loves her), since he has a medical condition and can die anytime. Meanwhile, PZ has a friend, Saif Ali Khan(SAK), who loves her. So SRK advises SAK and helps PZ fall in love with SAK. She comes to know the truth...but they realize that nothing can be done. SAK and PZ get married and SRK dies.

Now.... I thought that the movie was too long. They stretched it out too much and had too much of melodrama. However, I loved some of the underlying plots in the film.

1) The steps that SRK advises to SAK to make PZ see him as more than just a friend. You gotta be proactive and show the girl that you think of her as more than a friend.....The same applies for girls too. Such behaviour simplifies life:p:D

2) The concept that one should take life as it comes, and make the best of it... for one never knows... Kal Ho Na Ho (Tomorrow may come or not). It's no use crying that life is sad. Just make the best of what you have, face it with your best side... and no matter what happens.... ALWAYS KEEP SMILING. There is one scene which I found very touching. SRK tells PZ.... "You have forgotten how to smile. Let me teach you...it's very simple. A 3 step process.... 1..2..3 (insert Smile from a toothpaste ad)"

Exercising

Ouch... it hurts!!

I have started going to the gym and working out... and OUCH...IT HURTS!! its been 3 days now. I even went swimming and did 2 laps!! WOOOOHOOO!!. But seriously.... this is against my ideology. I dont exercise.... I just try to lead an active lifestyle..Walk Faster....Run up stairs.....eat healthy.... be healthy!! But no gym!! I know I wont go to a gym all my life...I am too lazy... and I'll end up growing fat....:|.
Well..then why am I going to the gym, you may ask... and I have asked myself the same question.
I have found a few reasons....
1) Addy... my good friend addy... wanted some company!!
2) Being summer session...I dont get out that often...
3) I get to see some people??
4) I get to see some women:D:D:D

hehehe
well... yeah...
guess I need to go for my shower now. Then get down to some cookinggg!!!

Cleaning Day

Well... Heyloa People...
Today....the cleaning marathon started... and so has the first day of work.
I went to work... met up with Jeff to work on an optical joystick...yada yada yada... and then... basically had the whole evening off. So ... played some ....ok LOTS of "Call of Duty"
Nick came by to say hello...Jacinto too!!.....
And Borna came and started it off by saying that the room was a mess.... so a cleaning marathon started. Now... some of it ....looks better. The room looks spacier.... and a lot of the dust...is in the dump. Lots more still to go. Looks like tomm will be full blown cleaning day:D

yeah.... grades got out today.. and except for my C in 438, I have A's in everything else. Well... the A in ME200 did end up pulling my overall GPA up to around 3.675... from 3.6 ... but the C in 438 kinda messed with everything... including my major GPA... Lets seeeeee
I believe I have started playing games again!! Warcraft 3.... Call Of Duty!! WoW

Yeah..... I am sad
Just got my ee438 grade. I got a C. Like all people....I say..I dont deserve the C.
The grading just wasnt right!! It never accounted for the propogation of error!! and I miss the B by only 0.88%!! 4 points more on the final!! Thats all I needed
and the prof's busy. Said he can meet me next week. Lets see what he says....

Yeah...Hi....
I'm bored. Finally I'm done with finals. Dont even want to think of the results. But now...I will be here all summer. Most of my friends have left....
and my room has become a universal storage.....Hmmm
so....I am bored. I still got a bunch of movies I need to catch up on....
and I also am reading Calvin and Hobbes.... Awesome comic ehh:D
Managed to get hold of the entire series:)
also have a lib book... Jeffrey Archer.....
And I shld get Feynman's book from the lib.... been planning to read that for a loong while!!
And I shld start cooking... cooking would be good.... yeah...cooking......else..I'll be broke by the end of the sem:|

I start work from next Monday....so 1 week of doin nothing!!
