Well.... I was sitting down... and decided to do some deep thinking. I was thinking if there was a reason why we like certain people just by looking at them. You know... just something about them which you see and say... yeah...I wanna be friends with them. Is there something in a person's face that reveals their personality? Something which is so apparent... yet so well hidden. Maybe that's why I see some people and instantly detest them...though I tell myself I should not do that before giving them a chance. Or maybe I detest them and refuse to see whether they have anything nice in them... even though I want to?
The Human mind is pretty impressive. I took a psych course a few semesters ago... and never really delved much into it. Never really understood the power of the human mind. Why one does what one does..... etc. I think the turning point was a friend... (Yes Addy..if you ever read this post.. that one person is you)...pointing out the reason why I was behaving the way I was. Everything suddenly seemed to fall in place!! Since then, I have been trying to analyze people's behaviour... not very successfully... but to an extent.... I manage to come up with some reasoning which seems logical. Maybe I am just a late bloomer who is revelling in the joy of some new knowledge... but if you dont seem to understand what I mean, look inside yourself... see why u may act the way you do... and from that you can deduce a lot about why people act the way they do. Introspection. It will help you see yourself for what you are...as well as those around you for what they are.:D
